A piece of Wichita history since it was built in 1934. Lawrence-Dumont Stadium has stood the test of time and played host to everything from the NBC tournament to the College World Series. A lineup as long as the Arkansas River that runs behind it still couldn't hold the names of all the greats that have played at LDS. Satchel Paige, Ozzie Smith, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, and Barry Bonds just to name a few.
People from all over the country have spent many hot, humid nights watching America's past-time at this Depression-Age baseball stadium. Cold beer, hot dogs, and salted peanuts... the official menu of summer.
If a good deal of your childhood memories came from this beautiful stadium, here is your chance to grab something to remember it forever. 2018 will be the final season for this historic venue so say "Farewell to Lawrence-Dumont" with this retro style baseball tee.
This 3/4 sleeve baseball shirt has a design on the front that shows the view from home-plate inside the stadium. With Wichita's beautiful skyline just over the outfield fence and the stadium flags waving in the breeze. This unique shirt will serve as a beautiful reminder of the great games of the past. The back of the shirt displays (in true jersey form) the "Final Season" title and the number '18. 2018 may be the last year for this shrine to America's game, but get this shirt signed by your favorite team or player and the memories of it will last a lifetime.
